Identical Crisis

Crisis seems to be the key word these days. Add anything before crisis and you can come up with a revolutionary idea. In most cases all you understand is that there is a crisis what crisis is it... well no one will be able to tell you. But there is a crisis.
In this crisis series there will be a solutions to every crisis that has haunted us for the past several weeks.
Its time to go solution hunting now. Here is the first one in the series.
So what do you do when Raj Thackeray comes calling and asks you THE question.. who are you? You might just be a North Indian living in west India. Your life is at stake for moving in the wrong direction.
You can show him the Map and tell him that this is one single country.
Or you can send him a copy of the Indian constitution and show him Part III Article 19 Part 1 (a and b).
If you have enough time and patience you can send a copy of the Indian Penal Code to the police and the Government of Maharashtra and add a note saying that Mr T and company can be arrested under half the clauses present under this act.
If none of this works then just act smart and drop your title. Give your first name and let them use their great sense of direction to decide where you from.
Keep an eye on this space for more solutions.

the chase

Have you ever realised that there is a Justin Gatlin in all of us. We all are chasing something or the other. This is indeed a very common thought. Everyone knows that we are supposed to chase something. But this chase is sometimes so hopeless. We know we will never make it but we continue to run. Those who give up are losers! Whoever wants to be called a loser. At least i don't!
But hold on! whats wrong in being a loser. You might give up one chase but then you have a chance to run after so many other things. Winning is easy, losing is tough because every loser is trying to win. It gets better if you loose without a reason as to why you lost. What's wrong if i don't top in my subjects, Whats wrong in not coming first, What's wrong in doing anything wrong and finally, What is wrong! who decides wrong right, winner loser etc etc etc...
The winner might just be the loser you probably saw the race backwards or vice-versa!
Confused? totally!
Hey! i just realised i was running backwards!

serious thoughts

recently we went for a study tour to a place called Lonavala.
the greenery or rather brownery and the star studded skies hit my poetic nerve, which had died 6 months ago. here's the result post Resurrection:
INCOMPLETE
Darkness, light and dark again
churns the soul everyday.
Racing against the billowing gong
i wonder; where do i belong.
The stars claim the sky as theirs
the snowflakes take the children's face.
The sun sets into the cloud.
Looking at them I'm in doubt.
A journey for identity
will take me to my destiny.
Like the stars, the sun and the flakes,
I shall claim something to my name.
